Synopsis
A tropical storm unleashes an avalanche in a poor neighborhood of Bogota, destroying the house where Marina lives, forcing her to journey back to the home she had left behind. The journey revives buried memories of her life in the countryside: the sudden appearance of guerrillas who threaten and kidnap recruits, later, paramilitaries who kill and set fire to he land, displacing those who live there. But Marina’s return also gives her a chance to locate another survivor from her family, her adoptet sister, and to rebild her life with this woman.
After the death of his grandfather in a mudslide, Jairo (Julián Román), a traveling photographer, and Marina, his amnesiac and mute cousin, decide to reclaim the land from which they were displaced years ago. They travel from Bogotá to the Caribbean coast in an old, dilapidated Renault 4. Along the way, Marina begins to remember her traumatic past. Upon arriving in their village and announcing that they have come for their land, they are kidnapped by paramilitaries. When they try to escape, Jairo is injured. Marina returns to the ruins of what was once her home in search of the land deeds that her grandfather buried, and while there, she relives the massacre of her family. She brings the deeds back to Jairo, who is dying, and takes him to die in the sea.

Synopsis
Miguel is a young politician who comes from a wealthy family. He has seen the world from a privileged position and made a brilliant career. But the vicissitudes of life make it a corpse with no identification, a NN, and the autopsy table to relive the horror of the doctor and his murderers. Miguel escapes and discovers that he lose his memory: do not know who he is. Miguel is looking for himself in an unfamiliar city, with unknown men, haunted by images of his past and does not know what dreams are not what they mean. From total ignorance of himself, Miguel live the drama of the street and part of the show ever saw from the window of his car. Survives through the love of a transvestite libertine, to the solidarity of marginal always despised and never took into account, and the complicity of a recycler that prepares delicious soups, and experience the horror, drunkenness and the fascination of being beyond everything and be foreign to himself. The politician is no more. The Miguel of today has no past and future. But Miguel is looking for and trying to find their essential being and strives to find, if any, redemption.
